ImageFix is a small, focused image-tools website. The goal is simple: a clean, fast place to do everyday image work — convert formats, shrink files, resize, crop, strip metadata — without uploading anything to a stranger's server.
Why local-first
Most online image tools work the same way: you upload your file, they process it on a server, you download the result. That's fine for some workflows, but it has real downsides. Your file is in someone else's hands. Uploads and downloads are slow and waste bandwidth. Many of these tools rely on advertising or sign-up funnels.
ImageFix is built differently. Every tool runs in your browser, using your device's own processing power. Files never leave your device. There's no account to create, no upload bar to wait for, and no third-party servers in the loop.
What you can do here
V1 covers ten of the most-used image tasks: convert between JPG / PNG / WebP, compress, resize, crop, remove EXIF metadata, and combine images into a single PDF. The site is multilingual from day one — English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese — with more languages coming as we grow.
What we don't do
We don't aim to be a generic PDF suite or a Photoshop replacement. We deliberately keep the scope narrow so the site stays fast and the tools stay focused. If a tool can't reasonably run in the browser today, we don't ship it — we wait until it can.
