Whether you need a 1200 px hero image, a 50 percent thumbnail or a quick proportional shrink, resizing well matters. ImageFix uses high-quality multi-step Lanczos resampling so your downscaled images stay sharp.

For pixel-exact targets, use pixels mode and turn aspect-ratio lock on so the image keeps its shape. For proportional changes, percentage mode is faster and more intuitive.
Avoid upscaling unless you have to. Algorithms cannot invent detail that wasn't in the source — the result will be smoother but never sharper than the original.
Resizing always re-encodes the image. To minimize quality loss, pick the highest quality you can tolerate in the output, or convert to WebP for a smaller file at the same visual quality.
